DE • Performing and evaluating calculations by means of FEM (e.g. linear as well as nonlinear statics, stability, etc.) using specific software
• Perform analytical calculations for strength and stability according to established literature
• Performing fatigue life and crack propagation calculations
• Creation of stress reports (e.g. Airbus Stress Data (ASD) such as strength reports)
• Writing and adapting simple (software) programs for pre- and post-processing of computational data.
• Completed engineering studies with specialization in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or technician with corresponding qualification
• Experience in aircraft construction, especially in Airbus development environment desired
• Basis in the field of structural calculation statics as well as F&DT
• Knowledge of NASTRAN/PATRAN, ISAMI, Hyperworks
• Knowledge of analytical calculation methods (Bruhn, HSB, Nui, ... )
• Business fluent German and English skills
• Pro-active approach to work, ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure
